Emova is an emotion-first travel platform. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Emova is the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at privacy@emova.app.

Information we collect

Account information from your sign-in provider, such as your email and name.

Conversation and intake content you share while shaping a trip, including how you want to feel.

Trip data we generate for you, such as itineraries and saved spots.

Billing information processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.

Essential cookies that keep you signed in. We do not use analytics or marketing cookies unless you opt in.

How we use your information

To provide the service: to run your guided conversation, generate trips, and keep your dashboard up to date.

To operate billing and subscriptions.

To secure the service and meet legal obligations.

Legal bases (GDPR)

We process your information to perform our contract with you, on the basis of your consent where you provide it, and for our legitimate interests in operating and securing Emova. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Service providers

We share data with providers who help us run Emova: Clerk (authentication), Supabase (database), Anthropic and OpenAI (AI features), Stripe (payments), and Vercel and Render (hosting). They process data on our instructions.

Data retention

We keep your account and trip data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal or accounting obligations.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. If you are in California, you may request to know or delete your information and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell your personal data. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
